Tiger at the Camp

Tigers do visit the property but not as regularly as the Gaur. Choti Mada (T31), the famous Tigress who regaled visitors to Kanha National Park for more than a decade, was, however, a regular visitor. Born in 2008, she spent her childhood with her mother Badi Mada at the property. As she matured she regularly visited the camp, once seen by the staff sitting in the veranda of the Bungalow with her cubs. Some of her photographs taken by trail cameras fixed in front of the Bungalow are thumbnailed. Choti Mada was last seen in 2022. In February 2024 one of her cubs, now mature, was spotted by an esteemed guest while walking on the camp trails. Watch the videos below.
